Hello Everyone,

Please read Jennifer McKinley's own words about sweet Stellan (I did this so I wouldn't get anything wrong!). He needs prayers & prayer warriors to pray for him & her & their sweet family. Stellan's body is starting to totally shut down please read his Mom's words below & pray. PLEASE!!!

Prayers for Stellan

Stellan had a shitty night. Sorry, but he did. So whatever. I'll swear if I want to. And believe me, I am. I've been vomiting all night with sympathy barfing for my son. Stellan is crumpling. He's still in SVT (3 days and counting? I can no longer keep track. How terrible is that?) and his heart is giving way. He is barely urinating because his heart can't keep up anymore to keep his kidneys functioning well and so on. Stellan has a low ph and low bicarbs. He's in some kind of metabolic, acidotic state. His body temperature is 94.7 and he is pale with cold extremities and thready pulses. He really, really needs help to get out of this hole. He began vomiting at midnight and can't keep anything down. I've been doing kangaroo care with him...skin to skin with him on my chest...to try to keep him warm and at peace. The doctors here are trying what they can. We'll talk soon with the Boston doctor again and hopefully he'll have some kind of insight as to what to try next. I'm spent, in all meanings of the word. And so is Stellan.

Thanks for praying.
Joscelyn

Not my Kids!

Welcome to Not My Kids! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what her children and everyone else's kids have not been doing this week.

Well after our Pastor said in his sermon that his children tell them to "wait a second" or "I'll do it in a minute". I totally could NOT relate & then later that day my youngest child did NOT repeat those same exact words to me during lunch "I'll do it in a minute Momma" (UGH!!)

My children always goes & picks up their messes, I NEVER have to threaten to ground them or to punish them because they love the clean ;]

My youngest child did NOT come downstairs without permission (while I slept) this morning and got into his Daddy's tool box NOR did he open up the door so that anybody could come in & get us-Nope NOT my child!

My oldest child does NOT go to restaurants & then screams (like a girl) with giddy delight when he gets excited nor does the same thing when he is in slight trouble, NOT my child.

Neither of my children would ever dream of acting up in the middle of Wal*Mart not ever and that is why I NEVER have to call their Father or Nana to come & get them and take them home, no way NOT my children!

Let me say that BOTH of my children give me joy beyond words & I enjoy every minute (whether it is good times or bad times) of Motherhood. So what have your child(ren) not done lately?

Week 28: "Feet Week" I heart Faces

I used Picasa 3 to sharpen it, blur, shadow, b&w, and put focal color on the feet. So what do ya think (even my friends & family can say-PLEASE COMMENT!!) but be gentle...I've been highly stressed... criticize with love-please!! Thank you & hope you enjoy :)

This is a sweet 9 month old baby girl's tootsies. Don't ya just love 'em? I want to eat them up! :)

I HEART FACES WEEK 27 PETS CATEGORY “ANYTHING GOES”

My children don’t do sports so when I saw I heart Faces was also doing a pet category I was game. I don’t have an expensive nice camera (even though I would like to have one) I do have a really good point and shoot so I figured hey why not.
This picture is of our not so sweet pet in a playful mood and then in his sweet mode-asleep. ENJOY!! (Please excuse the mes on the floor!)

Not Me! Monday

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I certainly did NOT tell my 4 year old that his brother & cousin were just left at the gas station last Monday and let him believe that until they came back to our house. I did NOT do this for fear that he would (if I HAD done it) scream bloody murder and we wouldn’t hear the end of it. My Mom supported this decision. I certainly did NOT do this, no NOT ME!

He did NOT tell my co-workers when they asked the next day that his “Bubba” got left at the gas station (with me NOT still letting him believe this) and that we would see him again later in the week, no NOT him.

I most certainly did NOT (being the good Mom that I am) still take my oldest child to the water park even though he had been complaining that his ear hurt him and then I certainly did NOT make him take some pain meds while there so that he could enjoy himself. No way NOT me!

And on Thursday, I did NOT give him more pain meds so that he could go to McWane Center instead of the doctor (his choice) and I did NOT buy him some swimmer’s ear OTC meds to help the ache so that he could enjoy himself there. He did NOT come up to me after coming back from the fun and asked to go to the doctor and for me to make an appointment.

Friday I did NOT sleep most of the day with Lil D (what’s up with that) after I took Big D to the doc, got meds, & went to Wal*Mart for groceries and now I am NOT messed up completely because my sleep patterns are not messed up, no NEVER me. I wouldn’t do that to myself EVER!!

Visiting, Swimming, & Fireworks in July

Well, I wanted to write this post for Not me Monday! over at MckMomma's blog but considering it is almost Wednesday I will write it "normal" style.

Noodles & Lil D

Thursday my children came home from visiting my sister & her family in Tennessee and a little girl (my niece) came home with them. My niece and my eldest went to the playground while Joey, Lil D, and I went to my bestest friend's birthday party. Lil D found a new playmate we will call her "Noodles" and he has been absolutly BEGGING me for another playdate with her. They had fun in her "pool", "waking up the 'gators", a balloon toss, & lots of YUMMY awesome food & cake! We stayed there way too late, but it was soo cool to catch up with ol' friends.

Noodles & Lil D

Friday we took the kids to Pump * Up for free play. They got bored with it way too quickly because they could not open up the "funner" side for them-not enough kids there. It was ok though & of course WE got to play too :-). Afterwards, Joey & I had Mads & Lil D & we stopped by Diary Queen to get some milkshakes. Big D kept calling to see where we were and what was taking us so long ;).

Our Family & Mads (our niece)

Saturday we took the kiddos the long way to Mimi & Pop's house (which turned out to be Richard & Bonnie's instead). We hadn't see Ma Jo or G Dad in a looonnng time (like 4 months!) so while we had Mads with us I wanted to be sure she got to see them. We stayed only 30 minutes there & the kids said hello & then left to go play on the "jump-o-lene" for a while.

Playing in a pool @ the lake.

Afterwards we went to the lake for some swimming, good eats, boat riding, more swimming, groups pics, & of course the fireworks! It was so much fun & I got to reaquaint myself with some good ol' friends (other friends) again.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!! GOD BLESS US ALL!!
