A Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party

When Big D told me that he wanted his party at Chuck E Cheese, I decieded that the best thing to do was to pay for him to have a "Star" for his birthday this year.  Normally we do NOT pay for our kids to be a "star"  there b/c of the cost.  BOTH of our kids gets to go there every year. In the past couple of years though they have wanted their parties to be there with their friends & family.  When we tried to have Lil D's party there in June it was so crowded that we had to leave & go to a nearby park we decieded that it would be best to pay for him to be a "Star" (which in our eyes he is ALWAYS a star!).

So, I got up on Nov 27,2009 & made him a yummy Funfetti cake along with funfetti icing & some blue & green decorative icing as well.  Lil D helped me to decorate it :)

We left for Chuck E Cheese after the Auburn v. Alabama game and was ready for some fun.

Here are some pictures of our STAR:

Big D, We hope you had a wonderful birthday & we LOVE you lots!
You are our STAR!!!

Winter School Program for Lil D

Last Thursday Little D had his fall/winter school program.

The kids were so cute & Lil D did alot of the motions for the songs.

He sang them for Nana, but everytime I asked him to sing them for me he would say; "I don't know them."  The little stinker.

Here are more pictures for your enjoyment.

Hey Mom & Dad!!

Fun in the long awaited sun

Here I am enjoying the sun & eating powdered donuts before going into Heritage Hall to work on math problems.  It was a beautiful, sunshiney day & I love to sit outside in the sun.  Especially if it has been cold & rainy for a couple of days.   How about you?  Do you like rainy weather or the warm sunshine?  Ummm, warmth & sunshine.

Show Us Your Life:Pets

This Show Us Your Life Friday Kelly is hosting about pets. So you can go over to her blog to see everyone's beloved "Fur babies", water babies, reptiles, or etc.

Our pets include:

• Rascal

• Kipper

• David

• Daniel

Oh wait!! She meant fur babies and not MY babies!!

They are a joy to own-most of the time & we do enjoy them. Even though the dog has started to bark howl at 10:00 p.m. & the cat, has & always has since he was about 5 weeks old, attacks us - especially my Lil Man.

Playing @ the Park & Leaf play

This past Saturday the kids were driving me crazy the kids really needed an outlet so I took them to our local parks, yes I took them to two parks.  They had a blast, mostly and they were very good except for one incident.

I took the following pictures of our time at the park with my new camera =] and then the sunset picture was taken at the gas station when we stopped to get "bunny milk" as well as other items.

On Sunday, Joey decided to rake the leaves up in the front & back yard.  After he finished he tortured picked up the kids and tossed them into the pile of leaves.  Once the kids realized that it was fun they had a blast jumping into the pile & throwing the leaves up into the air.

Mommy & Daddy also joined in the fun as well as Rascal.  It was just a great way to make memories with our children that they will remember for the rest of their days....not to mention the allergies.

Fall Decorations

I have tried my hand @ some crafts.  This is a cinomon broom (that smells absolutly marvelous by the way) that I bought along with some little pumpkins & a scarecrow.  I think it needs a bow what do you think?  I have already bought something else for Christmas.  Below is a plant that I bought & replanted.  I think that it has some beautiful fall colors.

What are some of you fall creations?

A full Day

Well..I tried....

I tried to get back on here to update more but just couldn't.  So here I am working on it again.

Last Saturday Joey & Big D left to go to Decatur for some "guy time", so that left Lil D, Mom, & me with nothing to do but go to Christmas Village.  Then my Mom got a call from my Aunt...my Grandfather was in the hospital.  We quickly changed our plans from playing on the playground & going to Christmas Village to going to the hospital and then Christmas Village.  Lil D wasn't thrilled with the idea but he consented, well sort of.

So we reach the hospital where my Grandfather is and we visit him for awhile.  My Grandmother & Cousin (& her hubby) are also there so we get to visit them also.  My Grandfather kept saying "Take your Grandmother & get her some food.  It is past lunch time" which it was lunch time, but not past it.  So that is just what we did.  My Cousin, her hubs, my Granmother, Mom, Lil D, & I went to C.B. to eat--it was soo good :).
*My Grandfather is now out of the hospital & is doing alot better*

On the way back to downtown Lil D had a small nap, which I was very glad for so that he'd behave alot better.  We had such a great time at Christmas Village & Lil D was SOO good.  We bought a few things (mainly things to keep warm during another visit we went too shhh!) & I had Lil D's picture made with Santa.

So just before six we decieded that we would go to Disney On Ice...(Yes!  that was the surprise & other visit).  We thought that since Lil D was SO excellently good that we'd reward him for his behavior.  He was in complete awe & it was the best money I spent the whole month (well on the exception of my camera!) on my child.  Enjoy the pix....
