Blast From The Past & More

We have been busy.

On May 15 our church held a "Dinner & Theatre" type show to help get funds for the upcoming Youth mission trips.  The Youth from our church preformed, waited on tables, served food, & etc to help raise the money.  They did a wonderful job.  "Blast From the Past" was the name of the "program" the actors/actresses were great & the dance routines were just a cute :)
Here are some pictures from that event....

On the 22nd Donna & I went to 5678 Dance & More's recital.  The recital was called "It's a Hard Knock Life" from Annie & it was SO much fun.  I loved getting to see all of "our" girls dance.  It was wonderful & I want to say "GREAT JOB GIRLS!"  & "GREAT JOB SHALITA, STAFF, & PARENTS!"  Here are a few pictures from that night.....

Mother's Day

Proverbs 31:27-29

She watches over the affairs of her household; and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."

Our Family 2010

So we celebrated Mom's Day for about 2 days, when you have 4 "Moms" that reside literally all over the place than it takes a full weekend to see/drop off presents for them all (we did fall short this year & still haven't gotten one her present yet).

Me & my Cousins with OUR Grandmother
We also were unable to visit (in person) another one of them, but we did talk to her & dropped off her present (not soo terribly bad) to her the evening before.

My Cousin's first Mother's Day as a "MOM"

After the birthday party mentioned in the post below we went to Joey's Moms house for a visit.  We got to watch Avatar with her & we gave her her gift as well.   Then we stayed to watch New Moon with Joey's sister while the kids all played outside and got VERY tired.  In fact that was one of the reasons why we did not go inside & just dropped off a present.  The boys were sawing logs so loud that we could hear them from the front seat.  It was a wonderful sound though & very welcomed.
My Babies, the drawin form :)

On Mother's Day we went to my Uncle's house for a visit with the family.  We had a great time and got to do a couple of "photo shoots" & family photos.  We ate some wonderful food, chatted and talked to one another and of course took pictures.  The boys finally talked me into letting them get in the pool and they swam for a short time.

3 Generations with Haley there is 4 (she is in our hearts)!

I have to say that we had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend & I hope that ALL of you did too!  Also know that I am in prayer for those who want to be Moms & aren't or those of us who have "Angel Babies" waiting on us in heaven.  We are still truly blessed and are a Mom.

Birthday Parties

Well the kids have not been invited to alot of birthday parties this year, but we have been to some.

We went to my sweet niece's birthday party last month at her home.  Since she lives out of state we make a weekend out of it.  We had such a good time with my sister & her family.  It is always a blast & the boys always love it there.  Here are some pics of her party:

we took this one for a Mother's/Father's Day present

We also went to a friend of Lil D's birthday party last weekend.  It was at a bowling ally and the boys had such a good time.  Us parents even got to bowl.  We also had a blast there.  See!!

Thanks for inviting us!  We had an AWESOME time!!
Mother's Day is next...I hope! ;)

You Capture: Spring

Photobucket

So Beth over at I Should Be Folding Laundry is doing a You Capture Spring again & since I took some "spring" pictures I thought I would "join in" the fun.  I say "join in" like that because my blog is private (still) and I don't think that you can go to it unless it is public.  So I'll link to her so you can go do your own You Capture but you must read the guidelines first, mm K?!
